SUPPRESSING VISION
We all live in our own little worlds. This world dictates to us what we see and often how we truly see the world. You see, vision is not something that only explains the cortex of your eyes...but also the context of what you will see and not see.
Let me ask you. What are you willing to see and what vision do you suppress? Many times it becomes easier not to see things about ourselves or our lives than to look at ourselves in plain sight. Many spend their lives painting rose colored lives and refuse to see that they are blind in all other instances.
So how do you see the world?
Is your vision of life and happiness or fruitful relationships blocked by a behavioral stigmatism that makes mountains out of mole hills?
Are you learning disabled because you continuously fight for your right to practice the same old negative thinking, the same bad habits, the same attitudes that never help you to see that the answer to a better life is as the nose is... in plain sight in the middle of your face.
Here are some tips to help you keep it real:
Do not hide from the truth. Refusing to see that your life is a result of the vision that you have for it, will only keep you in the dark.
Look beyond what's obvious and look for a greater meaning for your life and your actions. When you search for a greater understanding, you also expand your ability to create larger opportunities.
Set your sights on something bigger: more love, extreme happiness, a full life. When you tell yourself to settle, you limit your sights and will never see the bigger picture. And finally,
Ask yourself what you are refusing to see? If you are practicing vision suppression by keeping the picture small, it is like never adjusting the pixels on your computer...The images may appear grainy when you expand them. Ask yourself what you are refusing to see...Why are you unhappy, alone, unfulfilled, afraid, angry, broke. Now, just as you do in etch a sketch, wipe the picture clean and begin again to paint a beautiful life where you can choose to see a better future, and a better you.
Prosper!
